DUO CANTARPA

The Duo Cantarpa stands for the creation of excellent and interdisciplinary concert formats.

Together Natascha Ziegler (harp) and Luzia Ernst (vocals) develop a constantly growing, cross-genre repertoire that extends far beyond the classical classical song literature. Duo Cantarpa has been performing throughout Germany since 2019, delighting audiences with fresh programmes that are charmingly interwoven with moderation.
The young professional musicians are particularly interested in the literature and aesthetics of the turn of the century. The discovery of almost forgotten works for harp and voice and their special emotionality make every concert evening with Duo Cantarpa a unique experience.

Their their self-developed formats have taken the duo to a wide variety of stages and festivals, such as the KunstFest Passagen Menden, the Parksommer Chemnitz and the Federal Garden Show in Erfurt. In 2023 they won the 2. prize in the "Moderation & Concert" competition organised by the Isenbügel.
