Content In their new programme Portale, the Duo Cantarpa succeeds in opening up new connections between epochs and styles! Under the motto "opening, passage, continuation", the young musicians play with the contrasting element. Baroque & modern, Spanish & French sounds as well as opera arias & lullabies meet and create new connections between the centuries. The duo remains true to their concept of combining spoken word with jointly performed art songs and solo harp repertoire. The doors to other cultures, other languages and other styles in music are also presented to the audience physically, as an installation on stage. In this way, the portals created by the Duo Cantarpa come to life. Let us take you on a special journey through the world of classical music.

The journey begins with the longing that drives the heart to leave a place in search of freedom. This is followed by the forced migration into a foreign land, opening up the emotional worlds of the homeless or those who write from exile. The third section deals with "coming home". In a good hour of music and text, this concept gives the concert-goer peace, food for thought and a deep insight into the human soul. The programme consists of three thematic blocks. At the beginning, twilight is depicted on the object, namely in nature. This is followed by a look inside, into the human emotional world. The longing for another person and their affection, the observation of strangers, but also thoughts of death and abandonment are expressed. The third thematic section deals with the "heure bleue" in France. In a good hour filled with music and text, this concept gives the concert-goer peace and a deep insight into the human soul.
